On August 18, 2017, Guo Yuanqiang, secretary of the Zhuhai Municipal Party Committee, led a party and government delegation from Zhuhai to visit the headquarters of ZTE Group for inspection and had in-depth conversations with Hou Weigui, founder of ZTE, and other leaders.

Guo highly appreciated the achievements of ZTE's new energy vehicle project in Zhuhai in the past year, and said that the Zhuhai Municipal Government will continue to deepen the development of the new energy automobile industry in Zhuhai and increase its efforts to support ZTE to become more competitive in Zhuhai.

ZTE’s headquarters laid the foundation stone in Zhuhai Jinwan in November 2016, and the first phase of the project was completed and put into operation in mid-2019. We will actively introduce ZTE's advanced technologies in the world such as 5G/4G, chips, operating systems, cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things into the automotive field, and comprehensively promote the system development and construction and operation of ZTE  in the field of intelligent and connected vehicles, so as to make future urban transportation safer and more efficient, and make human life travel more convenient and comfortable.
