Zonson smart auto is freshman in the automotive industry, and soon after entering, it can also be regarded as a cross-border entry into this field. What I share today is how our company thinks about the new energy automobile industry and direction, and makes a brief report to the leaders.
zonson smart auto is a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZTE, which acquired a bus factory in 2016 and also made some layouts in the field of automobiles.
Everyone knows that there is a vigorous Sino-US trade war this year, why is there a Sino-US trade war? The first half of the year was ZTE, and most recently Huawei.A very important reason is that ZTE and Huawei have mastered the core technical capabilities of 5G, which is a very large influence on the world, and China is the world's leading in 5G.How important is 5G technology? This has a direct impact on our car building.
Because the future car is an intelligent, networked, is a world of interconnection of all things, in the future all things must be interconnected, 5G will play a very important role.Especially in the field of the Internet of Vehicles, the requirements of the Internet of Vehicles for network communication delay are milliseconds, and the bandwidth requirements are also very high.The capture of information about the surrounding environment by automobile autonomous driving is the throughput of dozens of G per second, of which some information needs to be uploaded to the cloud in real time, which must rely on V2X technology based on 5G, so 5G will have a significant impact on the transformation of the automotive industry after it comes out.
ZTE has the technical capabilities of 5G, chips and industrial operating systems, so we entered the field of automobiles.We have made some interventions from these aspects: first of all, ZTE has core competitiveness in 5G and V2X; we established Zonson Smart Automobile Co., Ltd. in 2012 to focus on wireless charging.Our future world is a world of wireless charging, wireless charging has a great application scenario, of course, this time may not be so fast;There is also our ZTE High Energy Technology Co., Ltd., which mainly focuses on the research and development of high-end power battery cells to solve the structural supply and demand contradiction of high-end batteries;Another is that in terms of automatic driving, zonson smart auto and ZTE have jointly established InBev Supercomputer Technology Co., Ltd., which is committed to the research and development of operating systems and computing platforms for automatic driving;Finally, zonson smart auto, our section is currently mainly focused on the field of buses.
In 2016, we settled in Zhuhai. Zhuhai has two very famous enterprises, one is Yinlong, the other is zonson smart auto, where our two companies coexist and develop together.In 2016, ZTE acquired Zhuhai Guangtong Bus and entered the bus field.In the past, Yinlong also acquired a bus factory called Guangtong Automobile, which also carried out cross-border.After the Zhuhai Municipal Government has these two enterprises, the importance of the industry has been continuously strengthened, so it is also hoped that friends of the industrial chain will have the opportunity to develop in Zhuhai.
We originally acquired Guangtong bus mainly value its double-layer bus manufacturing process very leading, it is currently the world's largest double bus production base. The double-layer bus we produted in Hong Kong has been produced by 70% share.Of course, we acquire ventilation bus, its capacity is not to meet our long-term needs, so we took 1200 acres of land in Zhuhai to build our R & D and production base, focusing on new energy passenger cars.
How will we choose as a car manufacturer? The choice is what to do and what not to do. We must do something and not do something.The automobile industry is very large, passenger cars which have just been speaking by leaders, commercial vehicles, logistics vehicles and so on. We chose to focus on passenger cars, and we will talk about our thinking in this aspect later.
The first is the technical choice.Our self-owned technology is to continuous R & D investment in the field of automatic driving, and establishing InBev Supercomputer technology, which we will have a certain advantage.The second is a hydrogen fuel. The matter ofHydrogen fuels is different people have different views, but as a bus factory must study this matter, we do some pre-research in this regard.We mainly focus on the research and development of vehicle control technology and hybrid control technology, which are also combined with the advantages of our ZTE software.Secondly, we will do some research on hydrogen fuel integration technology, and what exactly matching is the most reasonable.
Just now there are two major technologies, one is automatic driving, another one is hydrogen fuel, from our research, we think it may be the first application in the field of buses or in the field of commercial vehicles, why?In fact, the bus operation scenario is relatively simple, it has a relatively fixed line, such as BRT is simpler, it has a fixed lane.There are also commuting scenes in closed areas, or microcirculation scenarios, and we can match the autonomous driving technology on the passenger cars.In addition,that is hydrogen fuel, we think it may also be the first application in the field of buses or commercial vehicles, why?At present, the cost of hydrogen fuel is still high, and the cost must be supported by the government in such a high case, so at present, there are so many industrial parks in the country for hydrogen fuel, and the places with better development are all supported by the government, and the local government has vigorously invested, which areas will it give priority to investing in? that is the field of buses. So from this point of view, our products are still choosing the bus field.
The choice of market in China is still focused on Hong Kong, Macao and the Pan-Pearl River Delta region.Speaking of the international, we studied China's bus technology in the world is still relatively leading, especially electric buses, because electric buses have a total of 400,000 units in the world, 99% of the 400,000 units are in China, China has a very large application scenario and core supply chain, so electric vehicles have a very large Chinese advantage when exporting.The export of buses has safety, after-sales and other issues, the risk is larger, our strategy in the international is to take two types of cooperation, one is the local enterprises to build factories, we provide vehicle research and development design, provide parts supply chain, China's supply chain is very perfect, local enterprises to provide production bases and manufacturing.The second kind of cooperation in developed countries such as Europe and other high-end markets, local partner enterprises to provide three electricity solutions, we provide the rest of the part, which will effectively reduce the risk of safety, this is our thinking in the market.
In the future, the bus will be our continuous entry point, around the bus information, intelligence, networking and bus management system need to have IT information technology support, China's buses, especially electric vehicles in the world has a relatively unique technical advantages and application advantages, so we are committed to becoming a smart public transport solutions and service providers based on 5G communication technology in the future.
